Congratulations to the students and staff of Campbell County Schools for making tremendous gains on the latest Kentucky Core Content Test.
Eighty percent of Campbell County Schools' students reached proficiency in reading according to No Child Left Behind. The percentage was only slightly less in math with 73.5 percent reaching proficiency. Both scores are well beyond the goals set for the district by the state.
The district’s overall score of a 95 places Campbell County Schools among the best in the state and in the top 3 in Northern Kentucky. All of our students, staff and community members should be proud of these results. Over the past 5 years, CCS has achieved an 18 point district index gain. During that same period, the number of students with disabilities and those qualifying for free and reduced lunch reaching proficiency increased by 30 percent.
These results are further proof that great things are happening in Campbell County
