The National FFA Convention held in Louisville, KY welcomed 64,000 students, advisors and guests on October 29th - November 1st. 10 officers representing our Campbell County chapter attended the week long educational event. Students enjoyed keynote speaker Nick Vujicic and his story of overcoming his battle of being born with no arms and no legs; all the while developing organizations to feed the hungry. Students were challenged to “Go All Out” to change the world around them. While there, students participated in leadership workshops where they learned how to accept others inside and outside of the blue corduroy jackets of the FFA, become more involved in their chapter, and gained new ideas on how to serve their community. They also took part in a large college and career fair which showed them the opportunities agriculture could give them in their future as well as introduce them to colleges around the nation that would love to have them continue their education with them.
