Welcome to my webpage. I am the physical education teacher at Reiley Elementary School. As a special area teacher I get the priviledge of teaching all students, kindergarten thru 5th grade, at our school. My curriculum is focused on encouraging students to get an hour of physical activity everyday, and to become physically active throughout their lifetime. We also spend time on other health topics such as nutrition, safety, and personal wellness. I feel like in order for my students to be healthy they need to have opportunities to be physcially active outside of school. To meet this need I sponsor (with help of several others) the Cup Stacking Team, and Marathon Club. If you are interested in learning more about these clubs click the appropiate link on the left side of the web page.
I have bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Kentucky. I also have a master's degree in Physical Education at Emporia State University. When I'm not enjoying the company of my students I enjoy almost any outdoor activity (mainly jogging or disc golf). I am also a proud supporter of the Cincinnati Reds, FC Cincinnati, and University of Kentucky football and basketball teams.
