Hello parents and students! My name is Annie Hesch and I will be your kindergarten teacher! This will be my sixth year teaching kindergarten, and my second year at Grant’s Lick Elementary. I am so excited to begin this new adventure with you! There is nothing I love more than teaching kindergarten because I love laying down the foundation of learning and watching it grow!
I can’t wait to meet the families I will be working with this year so let me tell you a little bit about me. I currently live in Newport, KY with my husband and our daughter Hallie who was just born on St. Patrick’s Day. I love doing anything outdoors, reading, the beach, and shopping. I graduated from NKU with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and currently working on my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration at Xavier University.
Teaching and learning is a true passion of mine. As a teacher, one goal I have is for your child to love learning as much as I do. This school year will consist of exploring, reading, fun and engaging learning, reaching goals, and creating friendships. I would also love and encourage any daily parent involvement in the classroom so please let me know if that interests you! Let’s have a fantastic 2017-2018 school year at Grant’s Lick Elementary!
