Ms. Emily Hamilton Named New Principal at Grant’s Lick Elementary Ms. Hamilton

Ms. Hamilton is being promoted, serving most recently as assistant principal at Campbell County Middle School.  She has been in education for 14 years, 13 of which have been in Campbell County.  She resides in Alexandria with her family.  Both of her children attended Grant’s Lick Elementary and are currently students in Campbell County.  She loves the Campbell County School community and all that it stands for!  “I am excited beyond words to join the GLE team and work with the family of educators that prepared my own children for middle and high school and beyond!  There is no other place I’d rather be to learn and grow and help students and staff do the same.  GLE is amazing and cannot be replicated!”

Very proud of CCHS! #16 in Kentucky and #3 Regionally!
Prime Time Family Reading Events Prime Time

Campbell County Schools are proud to present six Prime Time Family Reading events throughout May and June.  PRIME TIME FAMILY READING TIME® is an intergenerational, family literacy program that uses the humanities as a tool to create excitement about reading. Combining award-winning children’s books with humanities themes and open discussion, PRIME TIME connects literature to the real-world for participating families.  This grant provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities in collaboration with CCS Family Youth Service Centers and Campbell County Schools will provide dinner, storytelling, discussion, free books, wonderful prizes (family zoo passes, gift cards), and family engagement for thirty lucky second graders and their families!  We are excited to send out the invitations! Please be on the lookout for an email and/or letter invitation from Myssi Turner!
