PHILOSOPHY

Education is a lifelong learning process that begins even before birth.  Campbell County Preschools are given the children during their “window of opportunity,” and it is during this time that children are at their highest learning potential.  Therefore, we provide the children with an environment that will facilitate their learning in all areas of development.  We encourage fine and large motor skills, cognitive skills, language skills, social skills and self-help skills within our daily routines.  In accordance with these areas we have a variety of activities available for the children to facilitate their development.  We strongly believe all children have an inner desire to learn and we are here to facilitate that desire.

We believe education of the children should be carried out in the least restrictive environment and should lead to the individuals’ highest degree of independence.  We believe the most important part of our school is our children and we are focused around their needs as growing and learning individuals.  We will treat and teach each child as an individual as we are beginning together the lifelong learning process.
