KY Core Content for Assessment 4.1 Awareness Materials (external link)

This site contains all of the materials related to the new Core Content for Assessment Version 4.1 and the awareness materials related to the Depth of Knowledge (DOK) assessment design model.  All of these materials are now available at one location on the KDE website.

KY Blueprint for Kentucky Core Content Test v. 4.1 (external link)

The test blueprint is a public document designed to communicate the structure and contents of the Kentucky Core Content Test to classroom teachers, administrators, school councils, and other interested persons. It also provides general guidelines for the test contractor to follow in developing the test. The contractor is instructed to match the proportions indicated for sub-domains in each content area. (Although final results are expected to be within 5% of these recommendations, slightly greater discrepancies may appear on the year 2007 test if revision of the Core Content has resulted in a need for additional test items.)

KY Department of Education Teaching Tools (external link)
This site contains a new combined curriculum document that organized academic expectations, the program of studies, and Kentucky core content for assessment into a single resource. It also has sample curriculum maps from across the state.

KY Program of Studies (external link)

The Program of Studies  outlines the minimum content standards required for all students for the required credits for high school graduation and the content standards for primary, intermediate, and middle level programs that lead up to high school graduation requirements.
