Campbell County, KY

City of Alexandria:
The City of Alexandria, population 8,206, was founded in 1834.  The city is located in Campbell County, Kentucky - approximately 12 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio on US 27.  There is access to the City of Alexandria by several major roadways including; I-275, I-71/75, I-471, and AA Hwy.  Alexandria is one of two county seats, along with Newport.

City of California:

The City of California is a tiny community of less than 100 people nestled in the southeastern edge of Campbell County. The settlement dates to the early 1800’s. However, the city’s history is somewhat unclear due to lost records in continuous floods caused by the city’s position on the Ohio River.

City of Cold Spring:
The City of Cold Spring, population 4,772, was incorporated in 1941. The city is located in Campbell County, Kentucky approximately 8 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio on US 27, occupying about 13.2 square miles. There is access to the City of Cold Spring by several major expressways, I-71/75, I-275 and I-471. The city is approximately 16 miles from the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati Airport.

City of Melbourne:

Located along the Ohio River, the city of Melbourne has an estimated population of 450 people.  The city was founded in 1890 by the Helms brothers who were the owners of a buggy factory in the community.  The Helms brothers named the city of Melbourne after a city in Australia where they were originally from.

City of Highland Heights:

The City of Highland Heights, population 6,500, is a newer community (1927) centered around Northern Kentucky University.  Highland Heights is a popular commuter community.  There is access to the City of Highland Heights by several major expressways, I-71/75, I-275 and

I-471.

City of Wilder:

Located along the Licking River, Wilder encompasses much of the prime industrial land in Campbell County.  New developments have added to the rural/city atmosphere.
