The ACT is required by Kentucky Colleges.
The ACT is a timed test composed of 4 sections: Math, Science, English and Reading.
It is recommended that students take the ACT at least twice. A good time to do this is in the spring of your Junior year and fall of your Senior year. However, you may take the test as many times as you would like.
All students will take the ACT at CCHS during their junior year, free of charge.
If students are taking the ACT a second time, they are responsible for registering for the test and payment of the fee.
The ACT is used by colleges for admission, scholarship and placement purposes.
ACT scores range from 1-36.
