GIRLS 12 and UP: Self Defense Course RAD Training to be held on June 7,8,9,10 from 12:30-3:30 for females 12 and over. RAD is a program of realistic, self defense tactics and techniques. It is comprehensive course for females that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands on defense training. The cost is only $5 for the 4 day class. This will be presented by Natalie Jackson from Alexandria Police Department This is our first time offering this course, call to reserve your spot today as we can only accept 15 girls. American Red Cross Babysitting Course June 15 and 16 for students 11 and up, 8:30am -noon American Red Cross Babysitters Training teaches youth age 11-15 the responsibilities of being a babysitter. Students learn the business of babysitting, diapering and feeding, hot to choose age appropriate games and toys, as well as accident prevention and emergency first aid. This is a very popular class and fills up quickly, call to reserve your spot today, cost is $50 per student. Registration closes on June8.
The youth Service Center is always in need of jeans. Our most popular sizes are boys size 12, 14, and 16 and girls sizes 12, 14, and juniors 0, 1, 2, 3, 4.
