Cline Family Resource Center

The Safety Net Alliance of Northern Kentucky is hosting their 5th Build a Dream Project.


Build a Dream volunteers will build and transport beds for 100 school age children (ages 3-18) in Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties. (This project is for children who currently do not have a bed.)  

If you would like to apply for a bed please contact me and I will submit an application on your behalf.  Application is online at http://tinyurl.com/88n9g and are due by March 29, 5:00 PM.  There in not a paper application this round.

Campbell County School's Family Resource Centers and Families in Transition Center

is taking registrations for the ABC's of Parenting Program.


This program is for parents/caregivers and their children who are in grades K-3.  Children are in a separate froup from parents but learn in fun ways the same topics: appropriate expectations, self-worth, empathy, needs, self-esteem, positive and negative labels, family morals, values, rules and helping children with their behavior.


Wednesdays, Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27 and March 6 at the Alexandria Educational Center (next to the Board of Education building)


6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, snacks provided

S.P.A.R.K is a 12-week program serving children ages 4-18 who have experienced trauma.

Need assistance with school supplies?

The FRC office will be open on Tuesday, August 14 from noon to 7 PM for families who would like help with school supplies.  The FRC stocks basic supplies (some supplies on your child's list may still need to be purchased.) Students should be accompanied by a parent.

If you cannot make that opportunity, the Family Resource Center is open at Cline on Tuesdays and Wednesdays  from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (other times available by appointment 859-448-2130) and we help with supplies all year long.

Backpacks & Breakfast

Goebel Park, Covington (corner of 5th & Philadelphia)

* Open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade from Kenton, Campbell and Boone Counties. At least 850 backpacks stuffed with new school supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

* To receive backpacks families must provide photo I.D., proof of residence (a recent bill) and children's proof of identity (Social Security or medical card.)

*Breakfast provided by Frisch's.

*Presented by Northern Kentucky Harvest in partnership with Be Concerned and the Brighton Center.

Weekend Food/Backpack Program

The Campbell County Family Resource Center (FRC) works with First Baptist Church Highland Heights to provide and distribute food for the weekends to students whose families are in need.  Every student will receive, in their enrollment paperwork, a half sheet describing the program and directing interested parents/guardians to call the FRC Coordinator Kriste Swanson, 859-448-2130.
